SUMMARY:Brownstone Greater Boston Supper Club\, June 2\, 2026: Jan Jekielek
DESCRIPTION:Brownstone Greater Boston Supper Club\, Tuesday\, June 2nd\, with Jan Jekielek  \nTuesday\, June 2nd\, 5:30pm – 9:00pm \nWilmington\, MA \nPlease join us for an evening of lively conversation\, intriguing speakers\, and fun! This month we are pleased to welcome Jan Jekielek. \nAbout the Speaker \nJan Jekielek is a NYT bestselling author and award winning journalist and filmmaker. He has worked with The Epoch Times for over 20 years\, most recently as senior editor and host of the show American Thought Leaders. \nYears ago Jan was studying the evolutionary biology of lemurs in Madagascar\, when his life took an unexpected turn. Exposed to the realities of human rights violations in China\, he started working with an underground railroad helping Chinese dissidents escape through the Golden Triangle to Thailand and ultimately to Western countries. It was then that he realized that telling unknown heroes’ stories was transformative\, both for him and his readers. \nDetermined to tell true stories\, Jan started working with The Epoch Times at a time when popular narratives in the West hid the dark underbelly of communist China. He did some of the earliest reporting on the Chinese regime’s continuing practice of forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience. \nOver the last seven years\, Jan has interviewed nearly a thousand thought leaders on camera\, including heads of state\, U.S. cabinet secretaries and agency heads\, and congressional members.  \nJan specializes in long-form content that tackles the grand narratives of our time. As a filmmaker\, he has produced DeSantis: Florida vs. Lockdowns\, The Unseen Crisis: Vaccine Stories You Were Never Told\, and the ‘optimistic’ Holocaust documentary Finding Manny. \nHe is the author of the NYT bestselling book\, Killed to Order: China’s Organ Harvesting Industry and the True Nature of America’s Biggest Adversary. \nAbout the Talk \nIn China\, wait times for life-saving organ transplants aren’t measured in years or months—but in weeks\, sometimes even days.  Evidence shows that many of these organs are not from voluntary donors at all\, but instead imprisoned prisoners of conscience\, mostly practitioners of the Falun Gong spiritual discipline and increasingly\, Uyghur Muslims. This is the story of how a totalitarian\, communist system can turn medicine into murder—where consent is absent\, human beings are treated as inventory\, and surgery is scheduled around execution.  \nEven more disquieting is the way this underlying logic of utilitarian bioethics—taken to an extreme in China—is spreading to the West.  In Canada\, for example\, the rapid expansion of euthanasia under the Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) regime has been accompanied by a steady rise in organ procurement from MAiD patients\, prompting serious concern that vulnerable individuals may be subtly pressured toward euthanasia and subsequent organ donation.  \nVenue\, Location & Parking \nRocco’s\, 193 Main Street\, Wilmington. Free parking. Overflow parking at Dunkin’ Donuts next door\, or across the street @ Sherwin Williams. \nRegistration \n$55 per person.  Space is limited so be sure to buy your ticket early!   \nFor more information contact Brianne at briannekrupsaw@gmail.com Please include “June Supper Club” in the subject line.

SUMMARY:Brownstone Greater Boston Supper Club\, October 7\, 2025: Kevin McKernan & Jessica Rose
DESCRIPTION:Rocco’s Restaurant and Bar\, 193 Main Street\, Wilmington\, MA \nTuesday\, October 7\,\n5:30pm – 9:00pm\nWilmington\, MA\n$50 \nPlease join us for an evening of lively conversation\, intriguing speakers\, and fun! This month we are pleased to welcome Kevin McKernan and Jessica Rose. \nAbout Kevin McKernan\nKevin worked as the Team Leader for R&D on the human genome project at MIT with the hopes of delivering personalized medicine. After founding several genomics startups to democratize DNA sequencing\, he found himself increasingly haunted by his colleagues’ departure from personalized medicine in favor of herd top down herd medicine. He has since focused his efforts on open sourcing medicinal genomes like Cannabis sativa and Psilocybe cubensis to enable a better understanding of safer alternatives to the top down dissemination of dangerous FDA approved drugs. \nAbout Jessica Rose\nJessica Rose\, Brownstone Fellow; IMA Senior Fellow; Surfer\, is a Canadian researcher with 5 post-secondary degrees in Applied Mathematics\, Immunology\, Computational Biology\, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Her recent research efforts are aimed at descriptive analyses of the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) data in efforts to make this data accessible to the public. She is also a prolific science writer\, public speaker and has presented her work internationally at the invitations of parliamentarians and Senators\, alike. She will soon be an employee of MIT. \nAbout the Talk\nKevin will cover the radical mutagenesis that has occurred in bioethics as it pertains to the incarcerated CRISPR baby Scientist to mandated gene therapies that appeared only a few years later. How this deception was perpetrated and what tools we need to fix to ensure it never happens again. \nPart of democratizing medicine requires decentralization of medical research and scientific publishing. The talk will underscore the narrative control induced by centralized scientific funding and peer review and how Bitcoin can break this cycle with censorship resistant funding and publishing. \nJessica will wing a great conversation with Kevin about their new paper’s data. It’s all about DNA contamination/SV40. \nVenue\, Location & Parking\nRocco’s\, 193 Main Street\, Wilmington. Ample free parking. Overflow parking at Dunkin’ Donuts right next door\, or across the street @ Sherwin Williams. \nRegistration\n$50 per person.  Space is limited so be sure to secure your seat early! \nFor more information contact Brianne at BrianneKrupsaw@gmail.com Please include “October Supper Club” in the subject line.\n \n
