With years of clinical experience supporting children and families navigating ADHD\, Mary has developed a root-cause approach that integrates evolutionary biology\, nutrition\, nervous system science\, and genetic individuality.  She brings to every conversation the fire of a clinician who has fought for families\, the precision of a researcher who has read the data\, and the heart of a mother who has lived it.\n\n Cyndi Collen\, LCSW-S is a licensed clinical social worker\, certified integrative mental health professional\, and founder of Flourish Holistic Mental Wellness and the Mindful Wellness Center of Austin. A clinician and educator with hundreds of successful client outcomes\, Cyndi champions holistic\, somatic\, and integrative approaches to anxiety and depression — and trains fellow therapists on the critical gap between SSRI research findings and what patients and providers are actually told. \nAbout the Talk \nMary & Cyndi tackle one of modern medicine’s most pressing controversies — the over-medicalization of depression and ADHD.
