Jim and Andrea Gale\, of Galts Landing Farm\, are hosting the event to kick things off\, with members of the board of Directors at Origins Reclaimed serving as additional speakers for the event. Speakers: Rob Younkins\, and Nicole C. Scott. \nAn opening reception will start at about 4 pm\, after which snacks will be served\, followed by a walking farm tour at the Galt’s Landing Freedom Farm with Jim Gale (In case of inclement weather\, consider bringing umbrellas so that the tour can continue). Dinner and talks start after sunset at 6 pm\, followed by plenty of time for Q&A. \nGalt’s Landing: The Flagship Example \nRather than being the “headquarters” or a private estate\, Galt’s Landing serves as the Flagship Living Trust.  \n\n Jim Gale’s Role: Jim acts as a steward of this specific trust\, demonstrating the lifestyle and the systems (such as the food forests) that the Origins Reclaimed network aims to replicate globally. \n Galt’s Landing is an off-grid “freedom farm” and permaculture demonstration site located in St. Cloud\, Florida. The property serves as a living laboratory for self-sufficiency and regenerative agriculture. Its primary focus is on replacing traditional lawns with “food forests”—diverse\, edible ecosystems that require minimal maintenance and no pesticides. Its purpose is toward a model of stewardship that secures land for the public good\, regenerative agriculture\, and generational food security. \n\n The Blueprint: The organization provides the legal\, financial\, and social frameworks (the “instruction manual”) for others to establish their own land trusts and autonomous communities. \n Expansion: While the movement is starting in Florida\, the goal is a robust\, interconnected web of these communities nationwide\, all operating under similar principles of sovereignty and ecological restoration.
